Probably mid C18, ground floor of No 8 modern. 2 storeys and attic, ashlar fronted
and framed by draughted pier strips. No 7 three windows wide, No 8 five, all glazing
bar sashes with moulded architrave aprons. Moulded eaves cornice with pier breaks;
No 7 has Marley tile roof No 8 formerly stone slate roof. 3 dormers, No 7 plain
with modern casement, No 8 has 2 with moulded flat tops. Gable end chimneys, off
ridge to right. Large through passage doorcase to left of No 7 with moulded architrave,
Doric block frieze and entablature; double panelled doors, upper panels glazed.
Very recent harsh plate glass shop front to right. No 8 has C20 5 bay extension
of No 7's Doric entablature supported by dividing pilasters. But improved by triglyphs
and guttae. Right hand bay is a doorway.

Nos 1 to 9 (consec) form a group.
