Early Victorian late classical villa in Bath stone. 2 storeys with 2 storey bows
to north and to west, and balustraded parapet. Bows have tall cross-casement windows,
pilasters on 1st floor with moulded panels below, architraves on ground floor with
brackets to band. The west front has bow to left, blind window, 2 glazing bar
sashes and later service wing to right. North front bow flanked by windows - eared
architraves on 1st floor, brackets to band on ground floor; steps to patio in centre
of bow. East (entrance) front: 3 windows wide. Slight recess in centre; eared
architrave on 1st floor with sash windows, carved brackets to band on ground floor.
Central 1st floor window flanked by 2 Corinthian pilasters on each side. Central
projecting porch: Corinthian columns inside Doric piers, cornice and balustraded
parapet. Round headed doorway with narrow side lights forming a Palladian motif
within round headed recess, projecting lantern in centre. 2 storey service wing
to left.
