C18. Samuel Pitman was apprenticed here. 2 storeys, red brick. Stone tile roof.
3 pairs of glazing bar sash wlndows on lst floor with timber lintels. Large lintel
on ground floor to right linking with main house. 2 smaller long, common lintels.
A good C18 lead pump formerly near through-way entrance now indoors. At rear,
a large round headed cast iron casement in centre of 1st floor with an opening
ratchet and 3 wall chimneys. Interior: steps from main house to interior of 1st
floor have a secret hiding place.
