Circa 1860s. 2 storeys and attic painted ashlar with plain frieze cornice and
blocking course. 2 windows per house - of different widths, plate glass sashes
with brackets to cills. Good stone dentil cornice to common fascia over shop windows
and dividing Doric pilasters - 2 part fluted to No 42. No 43 has round headed
doorway to now recessed door, coped verges to modern concrete tiles. 2 modern
dormers. 2 ridge chimneys in ashlar, 1 retaining moulded capping. Brick built
at rear with 2 gables; rubble east wall with side door of 6 deep moulded panels,
lower with corner beads, and cast iron knocker.
