Circa 1862 (road improvement). 3 storey ashlar fronted unified composition with
1+3; 2+2+2 windows; slightly angled at east end. Moulded cornice and parapet with
moulded cope and baluster panel over windows (blocked over No 18). All with glazing
bar sash windows (except No 18) and eared architraves. 2nd floor moulded sill
string, 1st floor cill band. Ground floor with overall design: cornice to common
fascia with Doric pilasters (lost on Nos 20) and 21). Wide throughpassage to right
of No 18 also with Doric pilasters. Above the throughpassage at rear of No 18
timber built with remains of coloured glazing. 3 ashlar ridge chimney with moulded
capping.

Nos 18 to 21 (consec) form a group.
