Circa 1830-40, altered detached ashlar fronted house. 2 storeys and 3 windows
with slight central break and later 2 storey 3 light (mullion and transom type)
square bay to left. Double ridge roof with a single window extension to south-west
below rear ridge. Pantiles and double roman tiles. Narrow cornice and blocking
course. Glazing bar sash windows with architraves (except for casements to bay).
Round arched doorway in central break with moulded imposts and traceried fanlight;
6 panel door, lower 2 panels reeded. Lean-to to right. Rear built of ashlar with
3+2 windows. Door to Station Way having rectangular fanlight with marginal glazing
and 5 steps with plain guard rail. Cast iron garden gate to south west: arrow
head rails and dog rails and curved brace.

Nos 5 to 9 (consec) form a group. No 9 is of local interest.
