2/17 Gazebo in garden of No 5 Halfway
Farmhouse


GV II

Gazebo. Early C18. Coursed rubblestone, stone slate hipped roof.
Square. Two openings in walls to form covered entrance to garden.
Roof has finial. Carved wooded boss in centre of roof interior.
Rendered interior walls. Included despite recent renovation, for
group value with Halfway Farmhouse Nos 1, 2 and 3 (q.v.) with which
it is probably contemporary.
