Cottage attached to No 3 (q.v.). C16 with C17 and early C18
additions. Rubblestone with square panel timber-framing to first
floor in-filled with brick, stone slate roof, brick stack left. L-
plan timber-framed house with stone extension to form T-plan. 2-
storey, 3-window. 6-fielded panelled door is in central timber-
framed gable with 4-pane sash to right, 12-pane sash to left in C17
timber-framed wing and two 2-light splayed mullioned windows are to
right in C18 wing. Central gable has wooden casement, to left is
casement and to right is 2-light cyma-mullioned window. Left
return has projecting chimney and 2-light cyma-mullioned window to
Interior not inspected, but recently renovated. Originally C16
house with gable end on to street and wings added to either side in
C17 and early C18, possible part of larger house with No 3.
