Row of attached cottages now public house. Early C18.
Rubblestone, stone slate roof. 2-storey, 7-window. No 1 has 6-
fielded-panelled door in chamfered case with 2-light cyma-mullioned
windows to left and right, No 3 has two parts; the left cottage has
two doors in moulded wooden cases and two 2-light and one 3-light
cyma-mullioned windows, the right cottage has central chamfered
door case and one 3-light ovolo mullioned window either side.
First floor: No 1 has timber framed gable with wooden casement and
one 2-light cyma mullioned window to right, No 3 has three 2-light
cyma mullioned windows to the left and two 2-light ovolo mullioned
windows to the right. All windows have leaded casements. The rear
has similar mullioned and casement windows to the front.
Interior of public house is C20. This building represents the only
remaining group of early C18 cottages in this street, the rest
having been demolished or altered.
