ST 9063 MELKSHAM KING STREET
(east side)

GV II

House at end of row. Late C18. Painted ashlar front, rubblestone
return and rear, stone slate 2-span roof with coped verges and
stone stacks to left gables. Symmetrical 2-storey and attic, 2-
windowed front. Central door up 3 steps in beadedcase with flat
stone hood on brackets, either side is pair of 12-pane sashes and
right is arched entry. Plan band to first floor; two pairs of
sashes without glazing bars. One central hipped dormer to roof.
To rear is single storey ashlar extension of C19.
