GV II


Cottage, now factory offices. Mid C18 and C19. English garden
wall bond brick with stone dressings and chamfered quoins, stone
slate roof with brick stacks. U-plan. Two-storey, 4-window. C20
door in beaded architrave with flat stone hood to right of centre,
3-light chamfered mullioned casement either side. Plat band to
first floor; two 3-light mullioned casements and round window.
Left hand bays have 3-light cyma-mullioned casements, 2-light
mullioned casements in blocked doorway to ground floor and 3-light
mullioned casement to first. C19 wing projecting to right has 3-
light and 2-light beaded mullioned casements and half-glazed door,
2-light mullioned casements and two small wooden casements to first
floor, 2-light mullioned casements to gable end to road. Higher
C19 wing projecting to left has 2-light beaded mullioned casements,
blocked loading bay to left, splay corner with ashlar dressings,
only two left hand bays of left return included in listing, rear
ranges not of special interest.
