10/83 Column with bust in garden of
The Courts


Column as garden feature. Probably C18, reset here early C20.
Limestone column on 2-step square plinth, volutes and egg and dart
moulded capital supporting bust of man. Probably brought here by
Sir George Hastings in early 1900s, possibly from Ranelagh House,
(Country Life, January 1st, 1943)
