6/159 Manor Farmhouse



Farmhouse. Datestone on porch inscribed RG/EG/1675, altered C20.
Random rubble stone, concrete tiled roof with coped verges and
gable end stone stacks. Two-storey with attic, 3-window front.
Central gabled porch with moulded Tudor-arched opening and ovolo-
moulded square inner door surround with C20 door, 3-light ovolo-
mullioned casement with hoodmould either side. First floor has 2-
light mullioned casement over door with flanking 3-light mullioned
casements, all with ovolo-moulds and hoodmoulds. Three full attic
gables with 2-light ovolo-mullioned casements with hoodmoulds.
Former outbuilding attached to left, now converted to part of
dwelling with C20 casements, blocked doorway. Right return has 2-
light ovolo-mullioned casement to ground floor, blocked mullioned
window to first floor. Rear has C20 aluminium casements inserted
into enlarged openings. Left return has wooden casement to first
floor, attached C20 flat-roofed extension.
Interior has deep chamfered beam with stepped and cut stops,
exposed joists, blocked open fireplace in room to right of
entrance, hall has chamfered beam with ogee stops, exposed joists.
