Detached house. C18 core, early and mid C19 additions and front.
Dressed limestone and rubble stone, hipped Welsh slate roof, brick
and stone stacks. Two-storey, 3-window south front. Central
glazed door with flat stone hood on brackets, 16-pane sash either
side, first floor has three 16-pane sashes, plain blocking course
to roof. Left return has 4-pane sash, blocked doorway, 16-pane
sash to ground floor, first floor with 4-pane and 16-pane sashes.
Right return has 16-pane sashes, early C20 two-storey addition to
right. Rear has brick gable end of C18 build, only exposed part of
this period, former stable to right converted C20 to present
entrance porch.
Interior has mainly C20 fittings, wooden label found in fireplace
dated 1856 and handwritten; 'This house builded 1856, finished
1857' with name of Bradford builder; it probably refers to
rebuilding of south end of house.
