House, mid to late C18 refronting of earlier range, rubble stone
with slate roof, coped gables and end stacks. Two storeys. Formal
three-window north front with advanced centre, moulded cornice and
parapet, but varied stonework, rubble stone to left bay, squared
rubble elsewhere. Centre has 6-panel door in beaded architrave
with keystone flanked by small 8-pane windows in similar
architraves. Pediment on consoles over door. First floor 6-pane
window in similar architrave. Sides have large sash to ground
floor and square window above, right side with beaded surrounds, 6-
pane sash below, leaded casements above, the left side with
unmoulded 12-pane sash below and 6-pane window above. East end
wall has large early C20 windows each floor. A canted rear wing
with stone slate roof and south end stack has three-window range of
leaded casements, one blocked by a raking buttress.
