Chest tomb, later C18, ashlar with south side oval plaque with
cherub heads in upper spandrels and ornate floral drop each side.
Fluted baluster corners. Plain fielded north plaque. Moulded base
and cornice with fluted frieze broken forward over centre.
Rosettes in angles of frieze. Inscription on south side to John
Melsome, died 1799.
