Farmhouse, C17 altered in C19, rubble stone with low pitched slate
roof, coped gables and end-wall stacks to main range, stone tiles
elsewhere. Main range is 2-storey with 4-window east front and
dripcourses over each floor. Stone mullion windows, 3-light ovolo-
moulded to right bay, 2-light recessed cyma-moulded elsewhere, 3 to
first floor, 2 to ground floor, windows in end bay blank. Two-light
mullion window to each floor of north end, ovolo-moulded above,
cyma-moulded below. To rear is long 2-storey range with half-hipped
stone-tiled roof, some ovolo-moulded mullion windows each side and
doors to through passage behind main range. To south of main range,
stone-tiled link with east side cart entry connects with
outbuilding at right-angles, rubble stone with stone-tiled half-
hipped roof. Attached at south-west angle is moulded stone garden
gateway, basket-arched with coping over. Formerly known as Lower
Farmhouse.
