Stable block at Jaggards House
GV II

Stable range, dated 1764 built for J.Kington, rubble stone with
stone tiled roof and coped gables. Two storeys with central coped
dormer gable over loading door with date plaque over, ground floor
central door, both doors in surrounds with raised imposts and
keystones, and one window range of 2-light flush cyma-moulded
windows each side. Upper windows are probably a later addition,
lower windows have dripstones. Circular end wall opening part-
blocked by stone-tiled addition with coped gable and 2-light end
window. Mounting block to left of door. Rear has dormer gable,
upper arched loading door with impost and key blocks, 3 blocked 2-
light ground floor windows with dripstones and later lean-to
addition.
