Cottage, late medieval and C17, restored in early C20, rubble stone with stone-tiled eaves roof, renewed in early C20. One and a half storeys. North side has small dormer set to right and ground floor central small 4-light timber-mullion window, possibly medieval or C16. Door to right end with roof carried over C20 lean-to porch.
Narrow 2-light timber mullion window to left, possibly renewed original. South side has 2 coped dormer gables, 2 upper 3-light windows, ground floor 3-light, 4-light and single light, all ovolo-moulded with hoodmoulds. East end stone-tiled porch with small arched light in east end wall. East gable is roughcast with mermaid relief, possibly plaster, in apex.
