5/328 Entrance wall to The Mansion

Entrance wall and piers, earlier C18, ashlar. Two fielded panelled
corniced piers with urns and raised gatestops with scroll heads.
Entrance infilled with ashlar wall and gateway with moulded
architrave and 6-panel door. To left, one ramp down to low ashlar
wall returned in rubble stone to north-east angle of house. To
right one ramp down to ashlar wall terminated at corniced pier with
altered urn. Rubble stone wall to service court beyond is not
of special interest.
