CORSHAM THE RIDGE

3/361 Stable range at Ridge House
GV II

Stable range, C18, rubble stone with stone-tiled roof, coped gables
and east end stack. North front has upper oval light over central
door flanked by 2-light flush cyma-moulded windows with dripstones,
door beyond to left and 3-light recessed ovolo-moulded window with
hoodmould. Door at right end in former 2-light window, dripstone
over. West end has similar 2-light above and blocked segmental
arched opening below. Attached at south-west corner garden gateway
with 6-panel door in moulded architrave with pediment over. Stable
has 7-bay loft roof with sling trusses.
