House, early C18; rubble stone with stone-tiled roofs, coped
gables, end-wall stacks to main range and north side chimney gable
to rear wing. 'L'-plan, 2-storey and attic. Formal west front
with white mortar joints, flush quoins, moulded eaves and string
course over ground floor. Three-window range, outer windows 12-
pane sashes in bead-moulded flush surrounds, first floor centre
mullion-and-transom window with architrave, C20 mullion-and-
transom, and central C20 large enclosed porch with cornice and hood
on brackets. South end lean-to. Rear wall has first floor pair of
mullion-and-transom 2-light windows, one blocked, under single
hoodmould and ground floor 12-pane sash in bead-moulded flush
surround. Rear wing has south side one window range of 3-light
recessed mullion windows with hoodmoulds, ground floor 3-light
extended to 4-light, and, to right, C20 single light to each floor.
Two-light mullion window with hoodmould to first floor of east end
wall.
