4/51 Drying Shed in Tanyard

Drying-shed for bark used in tanning, early C19, ashlar and squared
rubble stone with stone slate hipped eaves roof. Rectangular plan,
5 x 2 bays with square ashlar piers rising from rubble stone walls.
East front has centre opening and three-quarter length openings
each side, north side openings also three-quarters length. South
side and rear openings are only quarter length. Piers carry wooden
brackets supporting eaves. Five-bay roof with king-post and angle-
strut trusses.
