(north side)
4/98 Tithe Barn at Manor Farm

Tithe Barn, C14, rubble stone with stone slate roof. T-plan with
projecting east wing. Coped gables. Doors in west side, to East
Street and in east end gable. Canted south end wall to High Street
with coped ashlar weathering, blocked arched entry, and 3 vent
loops. Wing has Tudor-arched doorway on north side.
Interior: main range has 8-bay windbraced double-purlin roof with
7 massive raised 2-tier cruck trusses with arch-braced collars.
Three-bay wing has 2 similar raised cruck trusses. Scheduled
Ancient Monument Wiltshire 258.
