House, mid C18, possibly refacing earlier range, ashlar with stone
slate roof and west end stack. Two storeys, 2-window range.
Moulded plinth, string course and moulded eaves cornice, raised
angle piers with mouldings broken forward over. Twelve-pane sashes
in raised moulded surrounds, 2 to first floor, pair to ground floor
left, 6-panel door in raised moulded surround with double hood on
three brackets extended over 12-pane window adjoining, formerly
door. Interior not inspected. There is evidence from discovered
cruck-framed houses and the even roof-line that the south side of
High Street may be substantially of C14 or C15 date.
