House, C14 or C15 altered. Painted rendered front with stone slate
roof and east end stack. Two storeys, 2 gabled front, the right
gable a cross wing with west side stack. Renewed casement windows,
triple and pair to first floor, 2 pairs below and centre door.
House is apparently west end of open hall house partly in No 12
(q.v.), originally timber-framed with massive centre collar truss
and 1 1/2 bays of wind bracing. Cross wing is apparently 2-storey
upper end of hall house. Ground floor east side has large inserted
timber-lintel fireplace and chamfered and stopped beam.
