Turnpike Keeper's house. Early C19 with late C20 rear addition.
Squared and coursed rubble with squared and coursed dressed stone
and ashlar dressings to east, roadside front; gabled Welsh slate
roof and ridge ashlar stack. Low range set at right-angles to road
with pedimented east front: 2 canted bays on brackets with
triangular-headed sashed lights linked above by a lean-to slate
porch; central plank door. Rear addition has casement
fenestration and a 6-panel 'Georgian' style door with spoked
fanlight.
