GV ll


Barn, C18, rubble stone with corrugated asbestos roof and stone-
slated west side projecting cart entry with hipped roof. Added
lean-to to left, door and upper opening to right. Rear has plain
entry with timber lintel and lower double doors each side.
Interior has stone dividing walls, that to east possibly an
original end wall. Double purlin tie-beam-and-collar roof.
Southsea Barn is named on 1773 Andrews and Drury map of Wiltshire.
