Cottage, early C19, red brick with ashlar dressings and stone slate
roof with end stacks. Two storeys and attic. One hipped dormer.
Double fronted with ashlar flush quoins, brick dentilled eaves and
2-light flush chamfered mullion windows, two each floor, and
central door in raised moulded surround with hood on brackets.
Ground floor left 2-light window is altered. Lean-to rear with
catslide roof. Once a public house called 'The Steamer'.
