ST 88 SW (south side)

2/231 The Old Rectory


House, mid C18, rubble stone with imitation stone slate roof and
two rear stacks. Two storeys and attic, four-window range with
four hipped dormers. Dripcourses over main floors, sash windows in
raised beaded surrounds and central door in fine Roman Doric
pedimented doorcase with pulvinated frieze. C20 aluminium sashes.
One-window end walls, the south end with large canted ground floor
bay. Rear has central projecting gable and lean-to each side.
