The Old School House
GV II
Former school and school teacher's house, dated 1846, squared
ironstone rubble with stone slate roofs. Schoolroom has coped west
gable with bellcote, north side 2-light windows each side of Tudor-
arched door in gabled stone-slate roofed porch and slightly lower
east end range with coped gable and cross finial. Similar Tudor-
arched 3-light east and west windows with transoms. South west
school teacher's house has coped gable and south end stack with two
diagonal shafts. West front Tudor arched door to left with trefoil
date plaque over, and, to right, a 2-light mullion window each
floor, upper window in shouldered dormer gable. Rear wing.
