II
Farmhouse, C15 origins, C17, altered in C19, rubble stone with some
timber-frame and red brick. Thatched roofs with brick ridge stack
at original west end. l 1/2 storeys with two storey rear wing. Front
range has two C19 brick dormer gables with casement pairs over
rubble stone main wall with triple casement and C19 small canted
bay. C19 brick plain-tiled porch to left, door now a window. To
right is timber-framed and red brick range with east end wall clad
in stone with brick quoins in C19. To left, slightly set back, is
ironstone rubble range, possibly C18, with triple casement each
floor and door to right. Rear north west angle of main house has
visible base of large full cruck beam. Large two-storey rear wing,
possibly C17, rubble stone with triple casement each floor to east.
