Large outbuilding, said to have been stables, late C18, red brick
fronted with stone slate roof, coped gables and louvred timber
pyramid-capped lantern on ridge. Three-storey front with leaded
casement pair windows in symmetrical arrangement, two to ground
floor centre, the two to first floor with cambered heads and set
slightly further out and four to second floor. Attached large
brick elliptical-arched carriage arch with ramped coping. North
end wall is rubble stone, south end is red brick, rear is rubble
stone with centre door and window each side. Interior has loft
floor only, 7-bay roof with collar trusses. Cement floor to loft.
