3/134 Dodford Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse, late C17 or early C18, altered in C19, rubble stone
fronted and red brick with stone slate roof, coped gables and end
stacks. Two-storeys and attic, 3-window range of casement pairs,
outer windows replacing paired sashes. Centre door in C19 ashlar
fronted Tudor-arched gabled porch. Plinth and flush quoins.
North end wall and north-east rear wing are of old red brick on
rubble plinth with flush stone band. End wall has attic casement
and ground floor casement pair with flush keystone. Wing has 2-
window range of casement pairs, flush keystones to lower windows,
door to left with similar head and single casement over. Flush
quoins. Rear wall of wing is rubble stone. Cl9 north end
addition in red brick with coped gable and end stack. South end
wall of main range is roughcast with roughcast south east wing
behind, coped gable and east stack. C19 red brick addition beyond
with coped east gable.
Interior: original back wall, now internal has 2-light cyma-
moulded recessed mullion windows. Heavy beams in north room and
north-east wing.
