Pair of canal cottages, early to mid C19, ashlar-fronted rubble
stone with low-pitched hipped slate eaves roof and end stacks. Two
storeys, four-window range of 16-pane sashes, four above, two below
each side of two doors. Pennant stone plinth. Centre rear wall
leaded casement pair, lighting stairs of each house. Part of one
of the last remaining groups of canal buildings of the former
Wiltshire and Berkshire Canal.
