II
North lodge to Dauntsey House, mid C19, red brick with ashlar
dressings stone slate roofs and 3-shaft ridge stack. Single
storey, T-plan with decorative indented coping to shouldered
gables, flush quoins, plinth and Tudor-style mullion windows.
Matching north, south and east gables with apex quatrefoils over 2-
light window with hoodmoulds. Small-paned iron casements.
Attached to east gable, parallel to south wing is far-projecting
porch, gabled to south with east side Tudor-arched door flanked by
single lights. Single light with hood on south end. A very small
court of matching outbuildings to south.
