3/288 Former Stable West
8-4-86 of 1-2 Lockside Cottages
Stable. Early c19. Squared and coursed stone rubble walls with red brick dressings;
slate roof. Rectangular block end on to canal towpath. Two storeys, boxed eaves with
broad overhang. Shallow pitch roof, hipped to ends. Entered via right hand (east) re-
-turn elevation which has wide doorway to south end and central 2 light casement above.
Listed for group value with 1-2 Lockside Cottages,(qv).
