Pair of cottages. No. 48, C17 timber framed with brick infill No.
47 1848 extension, painted brick and stone gable. Half hipped
thatched roof. Original building 2-bays, parallel to street,
entrance approx where present entrance in centre bay. Rectangular
framing 3-panels high on stone plinth, 1-storey and attic, straight
corner braces to centre bay. Late C20 timber casement windows and
doors. Said to have no significant stack internally.
