Cottage dated 1799 but possibly of 1762, rubble stonewith stone
tiled roof and north end wall stack, brick on stone base. Coped
gable. 2 storey. 2-window upper floor, cyma-moulded 2-light
mullion windows with datestone T. S. 1799 for T. Sumsion, between.
Similar windows to ground floor centre and right, door to left in
modern porch. Nos 7-9 Cuttle Lane have group value as a range of
C18 cottages under a single roof. No 9 is apparently of a single
build with the rest of the range, No 8 is dated 1762.
