Barn to north of Manor Farmhouse

Barn, late Medieval, altered. Rubble stone with corrugated iron
roofs, originally half-hipped to gables, but south gable end
reduced. Gabled projecting entrances to west and east, west entry
with upper chamber, dovecote and stone framed side doors with
triangular heads. Coped gable. To each side of west porch,
lean-to additions, against south wall of porch and along front wall
of barn. 7 bay interior of considerable size with raised cruck
trusses to each side of entry. Trusses with braced collar and
small apex truss. Other 4 trusses are altered queen post trusses.
2 bays have upper windbracing surviving. Attached to north west
end, running west, a C18 rubble stone range with concrete tiled
roof, half-hipped at west end. Central opening and, to left,
stone doorway with four centred arch, keystone and plain impost
blocks.
