2/89 Shrub House

House, early C19, rubble stone with hipped stone tiled roofs and
central axial long ashlar chimney base behind front ridge. 2
storey, rectangular plan. 3-window range to front, 16-pane sashes
to outer windows, 12-pane sash to centre over projecting later
stone porch with parapet. East side has 3-sided late C19 or early
C20 stone bay window in end wall of front range and to right, a 2-
storey, 3-window range of 16-pane sashes and central door. West
side has paired 8-pane sashes and a 2-light ovolo-moulded mullion
window above in end wall of front range, and to left, a 2-storey,
2-window range of 3-light ovolo-moulded mullion windows. Rear wall
has ovolo-moulded mullion windows and truncated stack.
