GV II

House, earlier C19 with C17 rear range. Ashlar and rubble stone
with slate roofs. Double fronted range to road, 2 storeys with
coped gables and end wall stacks. Raised strip to sides and floor
band. 2 upper 12-pane windows, one below and renewed canted bay to
left. Central 4-panel door with hood on brackets. Similar door to
east end and two 12-pane sashes. Rear range with south end stack
and recessed ovolo-moulded 2-light window to east and west sides,
curved west side stair tower, C20 upper casements. Rear range has
large centre beams, timber-lintel fireplace and thin timbers to
roof, apparently originally for thatch.
