3/494 Park Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse, dated 1778 and early C19, rubble stone and stone tiled
roof with 2 ridge stacks and west end stack. 2 storeys, 4-window
range of 3-light flush mullion windows with raised bands over each
floor. Flush quoins. Left side is double fronted with cyma-moulded
windows and central door in chamfered surround set in shallow
gabled stone porch with cambered archway, moulded imposts and stone
tiles. Datestone T SS 1778 over. Right side 2-window range of
windows in chamfered surrounds. One rear wall 2-light recessed
cyma-moulded mullion window. Formerly known as Small Pox Farm,
possibly once an isolation house.
