SU 09 NW ASHTON KEYNES -

1/14 Ashtonfield Farmhouse
(Cotswold Community)

GV II

Farmhouse, now house. Late C18. Limestone rubble with ashlar
quoins. Two storeys and attics. Three plus 1 bays, the 3 bays
symmetrical with central door, now with conservatory. Timber
casement windows replacing leaded timber windows and flat arch
voussoirs. Ground floor windows replaced c1939. Fourth bay
originally kitchen behind major stack. Gable stacks. Three hipped
dormers in gambrel roof. Parallel rear block added 1936-42, not of
special interest. L-plan single storey rear wing on right.
