Cross. C14 or C15. Limestone. Two much-worn steps supporting
cube base reduced to octagon with round stops. Tapered square
shaft, 2.5m approximate height to break, with chamfered angles
stopped before base. The position has been adjusted C20 and set on
round stone base. (Ancient Monument, Wilts 293).
