School, now community room. 1652. Limestone rubble with ashlar
dressings. Stone slate roof. Part 2 storeys, with single storey
schoolroom to north. Three bays. Entrance on north, gabled porch
with depressed 3-centred arch and finials to gable. One gabled
window to north, 3 to south. External flue on north side.
Extension probably C19, has 4-light transomed and mullioned window.
Other windows of 3-lights, ovolo-mullioned and diamond lead
glazing. South elevation restored c.1980. The school was founded
by Robert Jenner, Goldsmith of London, by legacy from his estate
after his death in 1651. His monument is in the north aisle of the
church (q.v.)
