SU 19 SW LATTON CASTLE EATON ROAD

6/191 Seven Bridges Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse. C18, altered C19. Rubble limestone with ashlar quoins
and around windows. Stone slate roof. Two storeys and attics, 5
window bays, with 2-bay extension to right with lower roof, and
rear wing dairy on left. Further C19 extensions to rear. Central
half-glazed door to through hall. Bracketed gabled canopy porch.
Plate glass sashes. Three gabled dormers with turned finials.
Ashlar gable stacks and gable stack to extension and dairy. Left
gable has two hollow moulded string courses, perhaps fragment of
earlier building. Left end housed original kitchen.
