Chancel of old parish church, after 1896 mortuary chapel, now
redundant church. Late C14. Rubble limestone, stone slate roof.
Chancel and west wall of nave. West door in low chancel arch under
stone tiled pentice roof linking raked walls of nave. South
chancel door c.1400, casement moulding between hollow chamfers, and
hood mould with mask terminals. Three-light ogee window with
cinquefoil heads, and 3-light east window with devolved ballflower
hoodmould. Gable of nave has opening for sanctus bell and gable
cross.
Interior of 2 bays, the east bay raised up by 2 steps, and C19
limed oak rail. Walls plastered and seven C18 texts within
cartouches, restored 1983. Piscina in reveal of south window, with
trefoiled head and rose in bowl.
