SU 08 NE LYDIARD MILLICENT -

8/228 Parkside Farmhouse.

II

Farmhouse. C16. Limestone rubble with stone slate roof. 3
storeys. Originally 'E' plan but structure to right of central
porch replaced in C18 by 1-storey and attic service rooms. Porch
of 2 storeys and gabled, with 2-light stone-mullioned window and
open door over flight of steps and having moulded segmental arch.
Arms and supporters over door, said to be of 1581. Left wing
gabled, 2- and 3-light stone-mullioned windows with label
mouldings, kneelers and gabled apex stone. Windows of main block
replaced in C18 with 3-light timber windows with rendered jambs.
Structure right of porch with hipped roof and extended to rear as
dairy. 2 brick stacks.
Interior not seen.
