SU 08 NE LYDIARD MILLICENT THE STREET
(south side)

8/243 The Grove, and wall and
gatepiers to road

II

House. Early C19. Stucco with slate roof. 2-storeys, 3 bays,
double pile plan with stone hipped rear wing on left and 1-storey
brick extension towards road on right. Glazed door with radial
fanlight, within fluted Tuscan portico. 12-pane sash windows with
concealed boxes. Irregular fenestration to rear. Moulded boxed
eaves. Roof hipped and two 4-flue stacks in brick to rear. Gable
end of right extension extended as wall swept down to pier and
stone copings. Gatepiers also with gabled caps.
